Water hunting with My excalibur 1000. Finaly a hit.

I got up at 6 am this morning and hit a beach. I've been hunting hard this summer,but very little to show for it. The lake was flat for once. My 3rd signal was a low tone. I saw the glitter half way up. It was a 14kt Ny Yank. charm. It is about the size of a half dollar. A couple of grams, diamond cut. No big deal, but it has been a while for me. That was it,about $1.00 in change and the charm. I will hit another beach tomorrow. Sorry no pictures, I have a camara,but I don't know how to post pics.on this site. Good hunting all Mike.

Pennyhunter I like mine a lot. It is nice to be able to hunt in close to shore [where most of the nails,tacks,and iron junk is.] I have tried mine on all my gold rings and it picks them up loud and clear. The last 2 seasons have been slow for me. I do hunt hard and if it is lost maybe I'll find it. Thanks for the posts guys,I will some how figure out how to post pics. Thanks Sandman. Mike.
