Hi everyone, I hope you all are having a great weekend, with lots of cool and beautiful finds, last time we were able to hunt was Christmas eve, if I don't get any dirt under my nails soon, I'm going to go crazy! View attachment 1401951 View attachment 1401950 View attachment 1401952
funny story with the tree the teen is going to, his older sister and him were playing in the snow, throwing snowballs at each other when she must have decided to throw a snowball at the tree. Now this tree is old, it has a large hole probably about one to two feet deep going down the trunk, she walks up to it and threw a snowball down the hole, all of the sudden she screams and runs when three squirrels come flying out of the hole! OMG I was laughing so hard I almost wet myself, they literally shot straight towards her, along with lots of snow coming out with them. Her brother tip toed up to the tree and threw a small branch in, nothing happened, bet they never do it again!

Sorry about not posting sooner, my pc finally died, Chug got me a tablet for Christmas, I'm still learning how to do alot of things, at least enough to finally make a my first post of the year!
Chug was able to go to work yesterday, what usually takes twenty minutes to work took almost one and a half hours, but it was worth it when he was shoveling the sidewalks, and found this awesome ring under the snow! View attachment 1401963 It's stainless steel and it's also a spinner! My son loves skull stuff, so Chug gave it to him! The last time we hunted we hit one of our favorite parks, it was chilly, but not too bad, we didn't have much luck hunting the grass and tot lot, so I decided to check out the flowerbeds. There are quit a few, most have a wall that you can sit on, with lots of bushes and plants. It was a great idea, my first few targets were pennies, and soon Chug climbed into the next raised bed and he kept scoring, to the point he had almost three bucks in clad, I got 96 cents, which I was thrilled with. Chug made a new freind,
oops, almost forgot these cuties that he rescued from under a large bush. When we first got to the park, we almost left, there were some transients yelling and cussing at each other, there were threats made that were not good, so we went to the other side of the park, away from them, there seem's to be more and more of them lately, all over Vancouver and Portland.
My favorite finds for that day? Lets put it this way, we added to our collection of rocks!!! Yahoo! I love finding them, the idea of people creating art on rocks and hiding them for others to find is such a joy, especially when kids find them too, and you watch them laughing and excited, is too cool!

this rock is one of my favorites,
it says your beautiful in every way, so simple, and yet very powerful, we need more stuff like this. Chug found a flower too, I tell ya, it was his lucky day to find this much jewelry in one day!

and I can't forget my new freind, I love hunting, it's kind of like Christmas, you never know what you'll find and where.I took some pictures to share with you all, our city is beautiful and so rich in history,
this is our favorite pawn shop, we went to it a couple of weeks ago, and I bought myself a little present, I had to, I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it, I never take it off!
it's silver and marchesite, I love old jewelry, it has style, personality and class!
Thank you for reading, time to charge this thing back up and do some work on a necklace I've been working on for awhile, take care and stay safe, and have a great weekend! Red
