Weathered Meteorite??

Found this at an excavation site near my home. The flat spot near the "bottom" is where I tried to saw a portion off for a window, and the other flat spot is where I tried grinding another window in the different looking area. And the big scratch on the "bottom" side is from excavator damage. It attracts a magnet in some areas, and also has some spots that repel it slightly. I appreciate any input.

Looks like a chunk of marble. I find it interesting that it's magnetic in places. Since it's a sedimentary oceanic deposit. I could be wrong but in the picture it doesn't appear to be granitic.
