I got in about 7 total hours of detecting this weekend over 3 short hunts at a park I often hunt. Met up with Clad the Impaler there. It continues to produce. Pictured below: 1906IH, circa 1940 bus token (good for 10 cent fare written on other side) and 5 silver dimes - 1908D Barber, 1941D, 1943D and 1943S Mercs, and a 1948D Rosie. Also found 24 wheaties. Hunted mostly is shaded areas were the soil surprisingly still had some moisture. The soil conditions must have been good for my settings because the signals were coming in real good the last few days - a little better than usual at this location. One somewhat iffy signal was a wheatie at 10 to 11 inches.

Nice Group of Dimes! And an I.H. to boot, plus a cool token! Great job :icon_thumright: I've noticed my local park, which is only good for clad and AA tokens, is the same way, soil hard and dry, but supple in the shade. I've been sticking to the rain forests lately though...

boy those dimes cleaned up nice.

A trifecta and them some. Way to go! :icon_thumright:

Nice hit on the silver and the other goodies this weekend

Nice collection of silver. What is your count from that place?

I have found 25 silver there this year - 1 half, 1 quarter and the rest dimes

Amazing array of coins! I like the Barber dime, still waiting for my first of 2010 (and first since May of 2009). You're killing those parks.

Joe

Whoooooaa Congratulations on some awesome finds Man

Way to go Patrick!

When the ground is dry, target separation is most often a lot easier

Man if you can pick them out in a park like that, I'm all for keeping you out of my neighborhood!

I know those are earned and deserved!
