Re: Weekend finds before Tornado's hit. Tsgman

Nice finds! I still kick myself for not doing more detecting when I lived in your neck of the woods. Operated a gas station/store near Blue Eye, MO. in early '90's.

Re: Weekend finds before Tornado's hit. Tsgman

I am closer to Branson. Of course thats not far from where you lived. HH. Tsgman

Very nice digs, WTG!!!
Glad you come out of that storm ok...
And, what in the world is the size of those bullets in the second pic from the bottom?
The ones in the box, they look to be much bigger than the usual .58 cal I'm used to seeing, are they bigger than that?, or is the pic just messing with me?
Good luck, & Happy hunting~

Leon, those are 69 caliber bullets that were dropped. Civil, the red thing I am not sure Possibly the eye from a stuffed toy? Here are some of the areas near a few of my hunting spots. The one with just the chimney standing actually was a field hospital during the Battle of Wilsons Creek. The house burned down last year. Some of the other homes were just built and less than a few months old. The large ranch looking home supposedly belongs to Brad Pitts Parents. He supposedly had it built for them. It could be because my Sister lives around there and has ran into them while walking.

Tsgman,

Great finds, glad you came through the storms unharmed.

By the looks of the pictures, some people were not so lucky.

Glad you came through OK. A sad and very early start to the midwest tornado season.
Stay safe and happy hunting,

Nice finds TSG and congrats on the silver! I guess tornados are a disadvantage of being able to detect year round, glad you didn't get hit! HH, Mike
