Weekend finds in the Catskill's IH & Musket ball

A pal of mine and I did some hunting this weekend, Saturday we went on an old wagon trail in which we both found clad, shell casings, and both found an IH penny, Mine was 1888.
This morning I hit a old field next to an elementary school and found clad and this old musket ball.. I was pretty happy with that find and my first!

I see by your name and location that you're from the Catskill area. Did you get a chance to do any detecting around Grossingers, either before or after they tore it down? I always thought that would be a great place to detect.

I used to drive by there once a week on my way to Poughkeepsie. Always stopped at Katz's bakery, just down the road, too. Fond memories.
