Lots of rain and humidity coming our way and it started this weekend, I been hitting an old school that surrounds the the old park looks like it has some potential it’s been hit before all the silver signals are gone but left the mid and low tones signals that’s ok seeing I’m a nickel digger anyway I really like the led toy solider and gun silver nickels also a 1909 VDB.. I love finding toy soldiers. got a lead artillery gun earluer this year.

Nice finds Tony. I like the soldier too. Congrats

Nice work! 🙌 I dug one of those 09 VDBs too. Mine had no S, either. 😞

Very cool finds, I found a soldier just like yours but haven't been able to find much info on it, are you having any luck?

Oh man a 1909 VDB! Haven't dug one of those yet. Nice finds! :icon_thumright:

Nice old coin shooting! :occasion14:

It has no markings on it Im assuming its a cracker jack toy from 1910 the soldier looks like ww1 so that would make sense.

Nice selection of finds PP. Congrats. I am a lead toy soldier fan.

Good luck.

Sweet finds Tony- that 09-VDB is in awesome shape!

Awesome hunt. I like the old parks also. It's kinda like opening a box of Cracker Jacks. You never know what's inside.:icon_thumright:

sweet finds Tony, the old lead toys are very cool, not great for the little kid chewing on them but awesome finds now for sure. those soldiers provided hours of fun for many a kid. I have yet to find a complete one myself. I'm quite sure that even though the silver signals are pretty much gone, you will still be eking out some treasures here and there. Jerry

If only it had that pesky S. great hunting!

If he had the pesky "s" he would just have a corroded wheatie worth only a couple more pennies. Big deal, right? :dontknow:
