My fiance and I were back in my hometown for a wedding shower and I hit a few banks Saturday morning. Only the drive-thrus were open and they didn't have many. One bank had a single roll with all clads, one had nothing and the other had $12.50 in the teller tray. Those had a lone 1968 in them, but that made me happy and it impressed my dad, who went along with me. On the way home we stopped for shakes at a McDonald's. I was disappointed that they didn't have my favorite Shamrock shakes, but when I got my change there was a 1953 Roosie staring back at me! We got a lot of great gifts, but I think getting that dime was the highlight of the trip for me!
