Got my weekly nickel box today and found two war nics -- both 1943 S. That makes for two rolls of war nics found in the past year not counting the ones in our complete set of Jeffersons! Not too bad given current silver prices. Also found our second Proof Jefferson -- a very nice 1972 S. It was a little impaired, but had very nice frosting on the designs. My daughter gets all proof coins, so it's in her collection now!

On a somewhat related note, I noticed a sign outside a junk shop saying he was buying silver for 23 times face. Guess I should put a sign out in front of my house saying I'll pay 24 or 25 times face :tongue3:

It's starting to feel like 1980 again with the prices up so high. I was in high school then, and remember local stores pricing goods in both dollars and 90% silver coin pricing. I remember our local farm and tractor store listing how many silver dollars you needed to buy something, haven't really seen that this time around yet. Interesting times...

HSH to all! Finally get my two boxes of halves next Tuesday. Wish me luck! Need a big silver score to keep up with all you guys...
