Hey hey diggers!
Always fun finding a new site but you have to rely on some of those great old sites to get you the goods sometimes. Hunted a 'new' site with loads of potential, too bad it was new , like early 1900s, which for the area was new compared the other nearby sites.
The Fehys watchcase piece was my second signal of the day and I thought the place would open up but it didn't happen so it was off to the next field.
Little bit older now but sadly the best find from this beat site was a 1880 H Canada 5 cents. The tricky part of that was I have the variety Obverse 3 worth $....what I wanted was Obverse 2 worth $$$. Close but no cigar.
Final site was the oldest and the most hunted of all in the area, first find was the penny weight and from the same area I got the early watch winding key, since it was on an acadian site it's mostly likely continental Europe in origin. It's probably my nicest watch related relic to date.
Hope you guys can get the research done and put the finds on the table at the end of the day, its worth it!
