Found this rock that the detector reads as a penny. I have no idea what it is. Any thoughts/ideas?

looks like a mix of iron and quartz to me.

No iron in the vicinity that I know of. Found in central Maryland if this helps. Thx

Looks like a skarn to me. Copper skarn perhaps?
