Left Texas in 1971 but occasionally visit relatives there. Got back into MD and looked at TPW regs...no detecting in MacKenzie Park at Lubbock or any other park. Geez, we used to have reunions there and I know where at least a silver quarter or three were lost. Oh well.

Sure would have liked to hit all those yards in the Tech Ghetto before they were dozed down....that and the areas hit by the 70 tornado.

...............Some other states allow detecting in their state parks.......you just have to do some research..........Not Texas........before the ban I use to detect some of the Texas State Parks and I found a lot of Gold and Silver Rings and a lot of Silver coins...................it is really a shame that we cannot detect a public place that is paid for by our tax dollars...............
