Just a warning to you guys with the catch all pouch, pretty flimsy didn't last more than a week worth of hunting for a couple hours 5-6 times. My probe pocket ripped and I lost a brand new at pro-pointer from Garrett. Needless to say I'm pretty disappointed. Not gonna use the pouch anymore in case any more seams rip and I lose finds or something. What a bummer, down $167 on that failure not including the $40 I paid for shipping to get it to this part of the world... Thank goodness it was my probe at least I lost and not the rings I found yesterday. I don't even wanna think about what type of disappointment that would have been... Yeh, I guess I should of. It seemed unnecessary after not losing my last one for 8 years.

Sorry to hear about the pin pointer loss...:BangHead:

I have both of mine on coiled cords attached to the Garrett finds bag. This may work for you too. :icon_thumleft:

Sorry for your loss. If you haven’t checked out the custom pouches made by T-Netter Freeloader I cannot not recommend them highly enough! I have used the heck out of mine and every stitch, zipper and pocket is as good as the day I got it. I have used it going on two and a half years, prior to that I went through a couple Garrett pouches in a few months, I can be rough on my gear.

Freeloader has some very very good ones Tommy

Do you have a link to where we could find these freeloader pouches by chance? Thanks.

Just look up his user name and send a message

I'm sorry about your pointer, but happy you didn't lose your finds!

I too use a lanyard on mine so I don't leave it! Those are expensive!

I wear mine like a necklace. Metal free carabiner clip. Keeps carrot mostly out of the water when wading.

Bummer on losing your propointer. It's an important tool for our hobby and sure speeds up recoveries.

Who’s got the best landyard and where. Thanks.
