Very nice group of finds, congrats! :icon_thumleft:

Can’t help with specifics on the button, but early to mid 1800’s. The silvery buttons are older along with the shoe buckle frame and shoe buckle fragments. You are on a great late 1700’s early 1800’s spot. Great relics. Dig any non iron repeatable signal there. Congrats

Are those shoe buckle fragments made of silver?

The underside of the spoons where the bowl joins the handle also provides valuable dating information, most notably the "rat tail" characteristic. The backs of the buttons also provide most of the information useful in dating them, such as casting seams and the shank attachment/manufacture. Most of this looks Revolutionary War era to early Federal period.

Thank you for the great info. Ill post more when dobe cleaning. Love the history of items. Just waiting to see daylight.

Nice variety of finds. Congrats

If this site begins to bore you, let me know.
