Put in 6 hours at the park!!! Being a “park hunter” is rough. But thankfully in got a 1903 V nickel and a wheat and a old iron steak. My friend said it looks like a pickett pin to anchor a horse, or tent stake for a Sibley tent. You know I need to meet a farmer who has a old old farm that was worked hard and he likes me enough to let me work it for the rest of my life. Until then... You wanna here the strange park the small spot at the park I only found 3 ringers (29)all dropped) nothing else, no coins, buckles, buttons relics. There’s another spot not much bigger by 3 big oaks I’ve found nothing but v- nickels (27) not one silver, Buffalo or even a wheat. The wheat I found today was walk to my truck. Very strange to me.

But YES boy can I find a nickel :)

Nice finds Truth. Love the Nickel! Thanks for sharing...

Looks like a couple of nice finds Truth.

Just goes to show, lot's of good machines and lot's of good operators out there.

Nothing like an old farm to learn a machine. I've got one this morning . This one had an old church on the property in three 30's that was in the new owner's front yard. The first time. Square nails and one pendant. Nice finds and Congrats Truth.

Great finds for a "Park Hunter" LOL Congrats. I have an iron stake really similar to that I dug in SC years ago. I was also told it was probably used for tying out horses.

I'll be digging in a CW camp tomorrow. Thought of a vacation day today, but digging there two days in a row is tough. Makes you creaky and cranky. If not for that, I'd surely be at a farm somewhere.

Congrats on a very nice day.
It's not quantity, it's quality.
You keep bringing a cool variety of finds.

Congratualtions on the V-nickel! :icon_thumleft:

Nice finds! Interesting on how your finds have been distributed in this park, I wonder why?
