It was a happy sad day today I found a silver 1952 D dime, 1979 Canadian quarter, 51' & 48' Wheaties, and a big gold plated ring with a tigers eye stone in it. Along with a brass hook thing with numbers and a Yale lock. While i was at the school some rude ass person stole my MD bag, lunch, drink and two expensive ass Duracell batteries.. I was so overly pissed !! But I didn't let it get me down and the silver Rosie cheered me up some.... And then I went to check out the dozed down house, the guy said someone else beat me to it but i dug in anyway and glad I did cuz the guy missed some. I found a 1919, 1927, 1936 and 1945 wheaties :-) So beside getting robbed it was a good day today :-)

Nice finds, sorry about the thief.some asswipe stole my daughters purse last week.time to make public beatings legal

Gives you some satisfaction when you can go behind people and find treasure. If you don't nail it down and place an armed guard on it, people will steal anything.

Also found this on my back home at a dozed down brick building near downtown. There is a lot of older broken bottles everywhere, i saw the square corner of it on the surface and hoped it was whole... and it was :-)

Definitely are some sad individuals out there your stuff is probably in a close by trash can, they are usually just looking for phones and cash and if they don't find that they trash the evidence of the crime.

Well done on the recoveries BHG.
Sorry to hear some idiot ripped your stuff off. Lot's sorry folks out there.
The item in that last picture I'm pretty sure has something to do with roof shingles. I've found those before.
From one Hoosier to another, CONGRATS on the silver. :occasion14:

Glad your finds were so good despite the sneak that ripped off your stuff. Same thing happened to my son while detecting, bummer. Hope you have extra-good digs the rest of 2014! :icon_thumright: Andi
