I went back to local campground this weekend to do some camping and detecting. The area I detect is next to playground so kids aren't far away. I have found silver here over the past 3 weeks but today was great. I was getting some signals next to the edge of woods that ended up to be 4 wheats (1947, 1950 and 2 - 1953's). I decided to move into the wooded area a few feet and got multiple signals at about 5 inches. I dug down and found a rosie. I then stuck my probe into hole a got another signal to the side of hole. It was also a rosie. Just to make it short, I dug 9 rosies in a area of about 1 1/2 feet round (1948, 1952,2 - 1954, 1958, 1962 and 3 - 1964). About a week ago I dug 5 rosies just about 5 feet from here. I have asked around about this area and was told the boat ramp was just up the hill and a bait shop was once there. Probably a pocket spill.
