Went back to the spot I found the gun barrel and need a yea or nay.

Went back to the site I found barrel today,, found this. I seriously doubt it is anything but just want to be sure. Looks like the end of a very thin barrel the reason I say that is it looks like a sight at the end. Toy gun possible oil can spout?

It literally was found not 20' from where I found the octagon barrel. Along with a boat load of other odds and ends made of iron. This item just looked interesting almost like someone took a mandrel to a barrel? Again,, wish full thinking!
