This guy snoozed for a half hour

Be nice if I had that balance back.

Chris. Looks like a beaver is working on those trees.We have a couple dens in the creek across the road.
My neighbor down the road has a home on the lake where he often sees the beaver starting to take the bark off and knock down the trees also

I've taken pics and videos of them swimming up river while fishing.

My neighbor by the lake will give me a piece of a tree that was in his yard that the beaver chewed the bark off..
They just love eating the bark.
I would enjoy seeing the videos

Here's one better than swimming,early spring,river was at flood stage,don't know why he was stripping that bark,he wasn't eating it.

My neighbor had to place metal cages around some trees to save them.

When my wife and I were at a river late one night looking at the stars and enjoying the evening, one slapped it's tail out in front of us and scared the bejeezus out of us until we realized what it was. Those wine coolers we had drank almost ran down our legs.

That is so true my friend at the lake was fishing one night and he apparently unknowingly scared a nearby beaver and the slap was very very loud… incredible power for sure
