Got a button back that just screams Confederate but no front
Oh well, scored a bunch of Georgia teat bullets and 1 lone Gardner. Its been a while since I've dug a Georgia teat....found 5 in one hole and 3 in another! Found a bunch of musket balls also and 2 balls used as nipple protectors. Seems like the Confederate soldiers in my area loved to do this. Got a little brass as you can see and my first bird band. From the markings it appears to be from a pigeon banded in 1994. I'm gonna see if I can find out the history of the bird by the markings on the band. Already sent a request over the computer to the National database. Did locate one huge blacksnake also going UP a tree! Never seen one do that. Had a good day ......number 8 will just have to be found another day! Devonrex

I've never seen a snake trying to climb a tree like that, that is cool
