I have gotten old gold and old silver at this place in the past
only spent a little while there - most of the place is sanded in - but found a small cut
thought I just had only old silver - but one ring was not crusty at all - and after I dropped it in my pouch
I kept thinking - even though it is black - I wonder if it could be gold - it was found down deep
and in black sand and should have started to have some kind of build up
looked inside when I got back to my vehicle - sure enough - 10K
1930 - Im guessing a class ring
ring was probably made with silver as part of the alloy - my guess for its blackness
got a silver half - silver quarter - silver dime (looks like its a merc)
couple of silver rings and a silver religious medal

Congratulation!

You've got the school (St. FX), the date (1930) and the initials of the owner (J.L. I believe). Imagine how fun it would be to locate the family 82 years after it was lost by their relative !

Congrats on some nice finds from the beach, cool ring!

Its St.EX - did google search - closest it gave was a school in France
