went to local park today

So I got up this morning to go a do a little dirt fishing. Not knowing which park I was going to I left the house and as I started to drive down the block I settled on a local park.
I got there just after sunrise and there was a slight fog in the air. So I decided to go in a straight line from front gate to rear gate leading to a nature trail.
I hit 2 quarters right away a 65 and a 67. after about an hour I pulled a police badge from the ground # 32
wow I really had a good time.

Definitely a police badge not number is very low. Probably from early 1900’s

So I did some research and it turns out it is an auxiliary badge
