Nice finds. Congrats

The newer ones had a painted label.

I often wonder what to do with my basement of old cokes bottles. Yours are in very nice shape.

The one that had a painted label would have been from the late 50s or 60s. The Springfield one is nice too, I'm from the area but haven't found one yet.

No paint whatsoever is seen, how's hunting up you're way?

A person could only collect Coke bottles and end up with a large collection . I had several embossed ones that I gave to a young relative that was starting a collection . All I have left are painted ones . But they come in all sizes and some of them have a location on the bottom .006.webp007.webp

the smaller coke bottles like that with the city on the bottom and used heavier glass seem to be older to me and i save them

I have one and it is from Jacksonville Tx. nice bottle there

Here are two examples of Coke bottles, I believe to be 1923 vintage. Would they be paper or painted labels?

I would say paper label. I think the acls would have showed up later.

Yes, it was a paper label

You can actually find a manufacture date on the side of the bottle, in the curve.
