two similar tokens are listed at tokencatalog.com
here is the link to them -- one with a town name and the other without.

http://tokencatalog.com/display_rec...d=&SearchStringAnyWord=&action=DisplayRecords

one appears to have additional wording on front -- O. Mc
the other has a town name -- Carters, Cal.
1.the difference could mean there was a variation (issuance) from the same place -- due to change in owner, or they ran out...
2.could be different location entirely -- likely WESTSIDE SALOON would be a neat name in any states/tpwn!
3.the listing (without an image) itself could have been done wrong--this is doubtful

just offering a little help. looks like more looking is needed.

Even as a Maverick, just having the word "saloon" makes it special.
Long bus special.
Kudos.

Could be West Side, IA ??? I look around and ask.

This token is made in St. Louis, Missouri by A.E. Schmidt. I believe it dates to after 1940 based on other usages of this die. By the 1940's this maker was distributing tokens across the US. It is a post-prohibition saloon token.

It is not related to either the Carters, CA or Currie, MN tokens for the West Side Saloon which are shown on TokenCatalog.com. These tokens are from a different maker and from a different time period.

I'm sorry I can't offer a better attribution at this time. It would be great to be able to use this image on the TokenCatalog site... with your permission.

Do any new members have any updated information on this token. I appreciate any help.
