Wetgreenie's dream box?

This is pretty much Dream box material for me.

I picked up two boxes from a bank known for producing nothing but new coins. In fact I had two complete boxes of coin all the same year. However after some time I decided to try it again.

Again I see nothing but very new looking 2000, 2001 and 1997 coins and thought, here we go again. but then I get a nice glint of silver finally...a walking liberty...sweet...this is the holy grail for me, very happy. ;D

Then I move to the next box and about soiled myself yet again. One roll showing three silvers. I took a picture and pulled them out...Two franklin's and another Walker...sweet! Soon after it all just started rolling one after another silver coins sandwiched between nothing but newer barely used coins,

Keepers:
7 Walking liberty's: 1935,36,37,40,42,44,47d...
15 Franklin's: 4x1952,3x1952d, 6x1953d, 1x1957d,1x1963d
And one 1982 Washington commemorative.
Added to the keepers for the week = 35-40% and 25-90% silver halves out of $4,500 or 225 lbs of coins.

Yes, but it is the usual from this particular Bank / money service.

Re: Wetgreenie's dream box?

Id say thats a pretty sweet box since it only produced 90%ers and a nice commemorative. Good job WG!

That's what the con artists on eBay would want you to think. I've seen plenty banks that roll their own use paper like that. It's all in who the supplier is.

Re: Wetgreenie's dream box?

Congrats, I have not seen a box like that in a long, long time.

Re: Wetgreenie's dream box?

It sure was fun but may have ruined me.....Now I'll have to look for Wetgreenie's Wet dream box.
