Just got back form my trip to north Ga, And I wanted to share my experience with my Thermal Chest Waders, On Day 2 My son and I hit a little spot on the creek we was working where there was a hole in the bedrock, and it was full of black sand and small pebbles anyhow I was on my knees in 10" of water for several hours cleaning out the hole, when I finally stood up I was shocked to discovery that my right knee was torn. My Waders have reinforced Knee's, and I had torn the reinforced material. At any rate the rest of the day I was very careful. That evening we stopped in a Home Depot and I purchased some Knee pads to protect my suit from any more damage. The Knee pads not only protect the suit but make a big difference in the comfort level while working. If your using chest waders or a wet suit consider purchasing some knee pads. They don't cost much and they may help protect your suit as well, if your working on your knees.
