Detector(s) used
GC 1036- Gold Digger
Well, the weather's not too bad right now. So, I slipped off down the road to my first real MD site. But, first I'm whacking down the briar patches. The old log house that used to sit here was early 1800"s. So there should be some goodies lurking underneath.

I'm getting ready to buy my first real detector. I've got one from Christmas and an ol Bounty Hunter from the 70s. Now, I'm getting ready to go out and buy either a new Coinmaster, Ace 150 or an Ace 250. Little bit of a price range, but well within my budget. Called my fuel-oil company today 150 gals = 603.00. That'l kick a big hole in anyones's plans. But, still going to buy my new detector this week.

No, I'm in the Zanesville area.

Fuel costs have everyone frowning, but I'm glad to hear it you'll still be able to get a new detector. Congrats

Buying fuel for heat is getting to the point were you have to sell something out of your house to pay the bill .
It keeps going up and someone is going to make a lot of money selling wood stoves again for home heating.

Glad you got to get out for awhile , and I am glad that it is starting to warm up for the coming Summer.
But that new detector will make you feel a lot better and it will be a lot more fun than paying fuel bills . :)

The 250 is a great machine and alot of ppl here use them there is also plenty of info about the 250 under the GARRETT section of this forum...

I recommend the ACE 250 or 350. You won't be disappointed!

Hey, I'll take all the clad that I can find. i'll stow it away in my special place; then later on this summer I'll be able to afford that nice brand new outdoor wood and coal furnace. It's ony about 7,000. But hey, at the cost of FO, it'll soon pay for itself. I've got plenty of trees and coal here, so we'll stay nice and warm.
And, if I find some nice old coins and some gold, I'll stash them also. And, I'm seriously considering the Ace 250 for all of it's varied abilities, clad, gold and relics.

Hey Charlene, First of all, I get a hoot outta your Jack Russel's behind sticking up in the air. We had one when I was a kid and that little girl was heckter on wheels when it came to moles, rats, mice, groundhogs. Her name was Candy.
Yeah, fuel costs do have anyone that's still alive frowning. I really like your little end quote about God : :icon_thumright: He never fails :hello2:

Yeah, I've read a lot of reviews on all 3 detedtors. Also, watched them in action on YouTube and downloaded some of the vids. Great way to pass time when it's either snowing or raining and I can't get out to play.
