I found these along the Potomac river. Lots of fossils around this region.

That looks like a Yorktown whale vertebrae I have one just like it and a disk found at 40 feet in the bottom of the Blackwater River in Franklin Va. Took it to Old Dominion University and they identified it as such. I still have it. They said if I put 300 or so of them together I have the whales actual length.
