Made it down to Stewart beach at 6am in hopes of catching some of the low tide that was at 4am. put in a solid 4 hours and found one large .925 cross ring. It was now 10 am so I took a break, went and ate and made a trip to academy for some neopreme gloves and a new swimsuit. I was initially wearing my breathable waders but I took to many waves over the top so I needed dry clothes. I decided to stay on the island until the next low tide which was at 6pm. I got back in the water at 4pm and worked it till 7pm. I finally gave up when massive amounts of seaweed were washing up so thick you could hardly walk not to mention I was feeling pretty exhausted also. I really wanted to stay and find the gold but I guess it wasn't going to happen on this trip.
This was also my first time out with my new 10x14" coil. I like it alot. It covers alot of ground fast.
