What are these?

I found these in a field along side some Civil War stuff. I'm just wondering if these are related to the CW.

Second thing down 1st pic, half of a snaffle bit probably used on driven horses, bottom item looks like the end on a single tree.

I don't think it's half of an ox shoe, but if there are nail holes along the edge I'll change my mind.
