Hello. If I wanted to buy a good book with Civil War Relics listed in it to help ID finds which one would you reccommend?

Thanks.

If you hunt with a partner, get a book he/she doesn't have and you can research together. My first book was Civil War Artifacts - A Guide for the Historian - by Howard R. Crouch.

Most Definetly....Before the "Crouch" book I'll guarantee I trashed some good find's....Well worth the money!!!

Yeah Crouch's book is good. I also like Civil War Relics of The Western Campaigns by Charles Harris.

No doubt Crouch and Harris. Then I would get McKee and Mason bullets, then Dickey and George's Arty book, Mullinax's buckle book...and the list goes on and on.
