It was found at at CW site, but doesn't quite look CW old by the XXX patterns on the sides.. all lead and it's old, but from?

Looks like a reject from an attempt to counterfeit a coin by smacking a real coin into soft lead.

It's looks to be an impact bullet, but nothing like I've seen before.
