I found this piece of limestone on the surface and its shape got my attention. It doesn’t look like anything found in nature, I think. Could this be a broken piece of a tool?

Unusual shape for limestone but I’m wondering if it’s not some remnant of a fossil or a fossilized burrow or something along those lines, While possibly used by man I don’t see any signs of it being worked, if limestone it would be an odd choice to make into a tool.

Limestone is very soft. Wouldn't make a good tool.
