Can you identify this artist? The date at a certain angle looks like 1925. It is another item that came out of the old attic. I came to a dead end. I would appreciate any help you can give me. Thanks.

Probably going to take an expert in the field of southwest oil paintings.

Thanks everyone I wondered if it might be a local. Looks like some good talent. The date is 1925 that is confirmed. Oh well it will go on EBay before long anyway.

Burdie, check census records for someone with that name (whatever it is?) in that area in the 1900, 1910, 1920 and 1930 censuses. You might get some info. -Noodle
