What does 10k-2 mean?

Found this mangled ring that I will take to a jeweler friend of mind to repair. Just curious to what the -2 means. I'm thinking two tone. The ring itself is 10k yellow but the setting does not appear to be. Wondering if it might be a white gold setting. Any input would be appreciated. HH
