Hello, I'm looking at coins on E bay. This quarter is graded as an MS 66 T. Can someone tell what the "T" stands for? Thanks! ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1425946388.589411.webp

Tinted ? ???

hopefully someone knows :tongue3:
I can't find an explination

That makes sense. Thanks for the reply Don!

Its a rare slab around the time of the Appalachian horde of Jefferson nickles. Ngc started putting either a W if the coin was blast white or a T if the coin is fully toned, the program did not last long and most of the slabs contain Jefferson nickels.

Thanks for the explanation! I wonder if it increases the value?

Any increase in value (eventual sales price) is due to the hype of the seller's comments and in the eyes (aesthetic response) of the potential buyer.
Don.......

its worth what you can get folks to pay for it---- (as always)

I paid $27.00 for it. Which is about what it books for. Thanks for the info everyone!
