What is it and how old?

The house was built in the 70's but the old man across street said there use to be a old barn in the front yard. I am thinking it was a trash pile where I found them because they were close together along with a bunch of junk. Thanks for any info you have!!0601141732.webp
 

The one box is a coin holder
 

The thingy that holds coins I believe is called a chatelaine..aka ladies dance purse. That one looks pretty basic. The elaborate fancy ones are usually made of silver, and can be monogrammed. Known to have small chain, and even a small pad and pencil. The girls would write boys names down as they paid a nickel or dime for a dance..it was a Victorian age thing up until the 20's.

That is what I was thinking a coin holder. I also thought about the other one being a lipstick holder but the is no way for the lipstick to be pushed out of the tube?
 

It looks like binocular and that case it's lens holder.
