Possible art class, hand-made one-of-a-kind bowl, for mints, change, etc. (In my opinion, DC Matt's is a bowl, too, because it lacks the 3-4 obvious grooves for cigs to rest on. I think the downturned fluting all around is just decoration - I've got a similar one, without the middle hump.)
