Found this metal detecting in the site of an us army air field grounds base. Practice training base. And a base too. Is it related to the base? Is this broken? It does not stick to the magnet in anyway. Is it brass or copper? What is this Whats the age on it? Lightened the pics for pepper j in the natural sunlight.

it's a barrel seat out of a faucet. age-- mid 1900s
