My question is the Dahlonega Gold coin in the best finds section is a small D varity. I have seen no listing of the small D in any price guides. I've been told it is VF grade. Does it's being a small D, make it more valuable?

Free, I've been frustrated trying to find anything on the Dahlonega that you are looking for. Guess any records that existed dissapeared when the mint burned in 1878. I give up for now, best of luck and keep 'em smilin'. Jeff
