What is it?

Found a tiny piece of green stone with pretty pattern on the beach. It is not translucent. Could it be some sort of Jasper. Thanks

Yes it does. Found it east coast of England

only way to know the exact name for sure is to research the minerals found in the exact area (town, beach, etc.) - it's either an orbicular jasper or agate, or possibly rhyolite.

If you go to mindat.org you can search what minerals are found in that exact area

That thing is really cool! I would be trying to see if that would take a polish, it would make a great cab for a ring or pendant!
