Beach & Shallow Water Hunting
Hello Again,

I have been using my Sea Hunter everyday from Clearwater Beach to St. Pete Beach and yes there is no deeper detector, but picking up half inch pieces of wire down 2 feet in the sand isn't fun. Last night I dug 20 holes in the wet sand and ALL 20 holes were iron. I did find my first antique diamond engagement ring with 15 diamonds last week and a 925 sterling silver brooch. The Sea Hunter is great out in the ocean, but is horrible on the beach.

So I am getting ready to buy a brand new Minelab Sovereign GT for wet sand, dry sand and ankle deep salt water. My question is there any better machine than the Sovereign GT for this? I want to null out ALL iron. I read all the posts and everyone says the Sovereign GT is the best. Is this correct? I don't want an Excalibur, because I have the Sea Hunter and I want interchangeable coils and option to not use headphones.
I believe the BBS technology has to be the best. Is there ANY VLF that is better than the Sovereign for what I need?

I am getting one heck of a deal on the Sovereign, hundreds cheaper than everyone else.

Thank You

The Sovereign GT is the best unless you plan on hunting further south then the Viper or Cobra are the best ;D
