What is the difference ?????

I know that the infinitum LS has been discontinued but always wondered what exactly was the difference between the Garrett Seahunter ll ? they were both PI detector was it a different in frequency? if so why would you discontinue the infinitum thanks

Both are great detectors. The Sea Hunter is deep, and can punch through high mineralized soil and work well in salt water. It's a simple detector. Basically a turn on and go.

The Infinium is a step above the Sea Hunter. It can be ground balanced. It can also choose a frequency should there be some EMI in the area. The Infinium is probably a bit deeper then the Sea Hunter and can handle extreme mineralization better.
