before i get my hands on that book .. i need some help ..

i have some coins i found in Denmark

half Dollar silver 1969 D ( JFK )
Quarter Dollar Silver 1982 P
Five Cents Silver 1985
One Dime Silver 1997 D
One Cent Cobber 1968

are any of thise rare or just reguler coins ??

The half dollar contains silver but the others are common US coinage. There aren't many US coins that can be described as "rare" after 1940. As far as finding a Red Book it's as simple as googling that phrase or the author R.S. Yeoman.

I should also add that "rare" and "collectable" can be polar opposites. I could receive the most common Danish coin in my pocket change tommorow and I'd keep it as a collectible even though its value is nil.

after what i could see online the half dollar was made in 172 million pices..
