What is this? Age please.

Found This metal detecting. Behind a house built in the early 1900s and i found This where when the people who lived there got evicted and thrown everything in There back yard like mason jars. This was found in that area. What are these two things? Brass im guessing. Age?

They're cloth snap fasteners. The Carr Fastener Company made most of the ones I've found, but I think there were other manufacturers as well. Below is one of their catalogues from the early 1900s.
