What is this? How old is this? Found this metal detecting in the site of an army air field. Practice training area base. Base area. Is it related to the place kinda like army? It is heavy. The spring part sticks to the magnet but not the the blob metal part. What is the blob metal? Lead? In picture 4 the black part sticks to the magnet. Possibly off a grenade but what is the blob?
