What is this...scraper, preform, hoe???

3.5 inches by 3 inches...cortex showing on only one side. Flaked toward the edges radiating out from the center on both sides. Found in a creek...nice sharp edge on one end and the sides..flat on the other end. Do you think it was used that way or do you think it was once larger and is broken in two.

It's a preform of a preform. Maybe broke during manufacture?

I like the way it has been left. You can see the diff layers as they reduced it down. They either used it as is or saw something in the stone that stopped them from working on it further. Nice one Archer.
