Found today, a lot of it disintegrated when it was pulled out of the ground.

Could be a chunk of early bloom iron and it could be very old?. Keep hunting that area, who knows? You may find early iron age tools, weapons or other objects.

There is a hole in the bottom so it does look like it was made in a cast but seems old as it did disintegrate. Although does resemble a bird to me.

There is nothing in your photos to compare size. Maybe it came off a BIG American car?
