what is this?

sorry about picture orientation... is this bronze colored figure a Buddhist monk? or possibly a D&D figure... he is bald, has a bundle of something on his shoulder and an urn or jar on his back...oriental looking symbol on clothing,cloak?....

Sure, it looks like one, there is no pattern on the bottom, so it is not meant to be used to seal an envelope with wax... There is some ware on the top of the bundle on his shoulder where the smoker would have had to grip it when tamping...
