I have seen something like this for a sheetmetal thickness gage,zutphen

It looks similar to a sheet metal scribe, but it is not. A scribe would not be made out of such soft metal.

Looks like electrical "wire quick catch" related...
Maybe from switch or socket,,, ?

I think it is a print set gague used to set the height of printing dies. I have one just like it. This same item is occasionally posted in the Whai Is It Forum.

So what did you determine the one that you found to be? Here's the print/type gage that I found 7 or so years ago, the one that I found has marking on it. I was told it was a type setting gage.
